SPRINGDALES SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN ‘Words are all I have to take your heart away’ and indeed they did as the musical icon Ms. Usha Uthup mesmerized the audience comprising of Management, Staff, Alumni, Guests and students. The evergreen singing diva and Indian Pop, Film Jazz and Playback Singer set the stage on fire as she performed at the Hall of Friendship and Peace on May 7, 2019 at Springdales School.

The legend presented a medley of songs old and new, spanning the generations. Her interactive manner of the musical rendition encouraged the audience to participate and join in with the words and rhythm of her musical beats …And the atmosphere turned so magical ! ! !

Her unique style in singing, her rich and powerful voice as well as her tremendous range of the foot tapping numbers found an instant connect with the audience. Transcending the barriers of time and space Ms. Uthup swayed the gathering with her magnetic voice as she sang the popular numbers ‘Bulleya’ , ‘Ramba ho’, Hari om Hari’, ‘Fever’ and ‘Dum Maro Dum’.

Ending the Concert in her own inimitable and rhythmic style ‘We are the World, We the Children, We are the ones who make a brighter day’, Ms. Uthup reposed her faith in the children who are our real future.
