SPRINGDALES SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN The School celebrated the Annual Day and Prize Giving Ceremony on Friday, November 30th, 2018 which was graced by Justice (Retd) Ajit Prakash Shah, Former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court and Chairman, Springdales School, Pusa Road. Shri Pavan K. Varma, Author, Politician and former Diplomat was the Guest of Honour. It was our privilege to have His Excellency Mr. Armen Martirosyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia on this ceremonious occasion.

Dr. Kiran Datar, Chairperson, Managing Board, Springdales, Dhaula Kuan welcomed the distinguished guests while Dr. Jyoti Bose, Director, Springdales Schools and Mrs. Ritu Madan, Officiating Principal presented the School Annual Report.

Presenting the Awards to the meritorious students of the Senior School for their excellence in Academic and Co-curricular Activities, Justice Shah congratulated the school for creating a vibrant culture where students have a scientific temperament, are compassionate, respect diversity and desire for international peace.

Advising the young Springdalians, Shri Pavan K. Varma urged them to be culturally rooted, strive to be original , be disciplined and become enlightened citizens.

The musical rendition of the School Choir filled the auditorium with a spirit of festivity and joy of Onam as well as brought alive the memories of Poland and Finland.

The Senior School Ballet “India Alive” – a powerful audio-visual performance with dance, song and visual projections draws inspiration from the echoes of the past and the great men who shaped India’s destiny. The ballet questioned the tenets of democracy, secularism and justice enshrined in our constitution and urged youth to come forward to restore a fragmented nation by working for an inclusive society.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Neerja Sharma, Manager, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan.
