SPRINGDALES SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN Affirming the belief that students are the real change makers who can discover ways to make the world better and beautiful with their scientific innovations , Springdales School hosted the Annual 14th Dr. A.K. Saha Memorial Young Scientists Experimental Projects Inter-School Contest on August 10th, 2018. 

The Chief Guest Mr. Suraj Prakash, an eminent educationist and scientist, Director, Bal Bharti Training Centre, Pitampura, Delhi was really impressed by the innovative ideas presented by the students. Mr. Prakash encouraged the students to inculcate a spirit of inquiry and questioning

The Annual venture aims to stimulate ideas, encourage experimentation as well as offer a glimpse into the technical capabilities, of today’s generation and therefore, the theme this year was “Game Changers and Change Makers – Celebrating and Exploring Science, Innovation and Technology” and two events were held as a part of the contest – Investigatory Project Competition and the Science Quiz.

Welcoming the guests to the contest, Mrs. Ritu Madan, Officiating Principal, Springdales School advised the students to use the knowledge of science with a conscience to bring out ‘humaneness’ in the future citizens because science without a conscience is the soul’s perdition.

Springdales School, Pusa Road was adjudged the Overall Winners of the A.K. Saha Memorial Trophy while Tagore International School, East of Kailash bagged the Runners Up Trophy.
