SPRINGDALES SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN Celebrating the power of the Human Spirit, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan in collaboration with the Old Springdalian Association (OSA)hosted the 15th Kusum Verma Memorial National Inter-School English Festival in memory of Late Kusum Verma , Former Head of the English Department.

This year the Creative Fiesta paid a tribute to the indomitable spirit of humans and his struggles through rendition of poems centred on the theme “The Human Spirit-An Answer?” The “Power of Knowledge” to pave the road to wisdom and enlightenment was explored by the participants through their Creative Writings. The students envisioned a hopeful future for humanity through their Enactments on the theme “The world needs….”

Welcoming the Guests to the Creative Fiesta Dr. Jyoti Bose, Principal, Springdales School,  Dhaula Kuan suggested that “The Human Spirit is a social construct that defines our personality and our philosophy of life.”

The first position in the category of self-composed poems was bagged by Springdales School; Dhaula Kuan while Springdales School Pusa Road received the First prize in Category B. Mother’s International School was adjudged the winner in the Creative Writing Contest whereas Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan won the first Prize in Enact an Act Competition. The  Overall Trophy was  awarded to Indraprastha International School, Dwarka.
