SPRINGDALES SCHOOL PUSA ROAD An inter house choral recitation festival was organised for students of class VI, VII & VIII on the 11th of May 2017.

The event was presided over by the Principal Ms Ameeta Mulla Wattal, who motivated the students, took keen interest in their renditions and encouraged them to be passionate about literature.

The judges for the programme were Ms Lizzie Janat Kannan, Mrs. Raj Mishra, both educationists and Ms Indu Banerjee, former Headmistress Springdales School, Pusa Road. The festival showcased the articulation skills of students. They awed the audience by their excellent expression, voice modulation and fluency. Each house presented a poem by famous poets like Lewis Carroll, Edgar Allan Poe and the like. The solo Shakespearean speeches stole the show.

Forward and Freedom House shared the first position followed by Unity House that was adjudged second.

The first position was bagged by Kenisha Chopra for the delivery of Lady Macbeth’s soliloquy.

The festival helped the students hone their conversational skills and exposed them to a lot of good literary works.
