SPRINGDALES SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN The School organised a special assembly to welcome a delegation of  26 members from Kazakhstan which included School Principals, teachers, students and UNESCO Club Leaders.

The Springdalians showcased the rich tradition and culture of India through a beautiful Bharat Natyam dance performance. The talented singers of the school enchanted the visitors as they serenaded a medley of songs.

The visitors presented the local flavors through their cultural performances. The audience was in fact transported to the land of Kazakhstan through their soulful opera performance, mesmerizing dance presentations in vibrant costumes and melodious rendition on musical instruments. Earlier in the day, the delegates were escorted by Mrs. Ambika Roshan Principal, Springdales School ,Dhaula Kuan on a round of the school. They engaged in an interesting activity in the Innovation Lab and later shared their experiences with the students learning foreign languages. They also visited the Junior School and the School’s Special Needs Centre to learn more about the Indian education system and inclusive schooling.

In his address, Mr. Beisembayev Gani, Leader of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs expressed his gratitude to the school for forging new ties of friendship.

Giving her greetings on the occasion, Dr. Jyoti Bose, Director, Springdales Schools complimented the visitors for their wonderful performances and highlighted that such exchanges between students strengthen bonds between two nations.

The visit concluded with the presentation of mementos to the ambassadors of peace and friendship from Kazakhstan.
