SPRINGDALES SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN At a scintillating confluence of world cultures “International Children’s Festival” held at Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan. H.E. Mr. Adnan Abu Alhaijaa, Ambassador of Palestine, H.E. Ms. Suzannah Jessep, Deputy High Commissioner, New Zealand High Commission, Mr. Ben Joubert, Deputy High Commissioner, South African High Commission and Mr. Dietrich Graf von der Schulenburg, Head of the Cultural Department, German Embassy were the Special Guests.

In her welcome, Principal Dr. Jyoti Bose reiterated the key role of education in promoting International Peace and Understanding. She took immense pride in the fact that ‘quest for harmony and inclusivity is the hallmark of Springdalian Education’.

Held since 1989, this occasion celebrates the ideals of Shri Yudister Kumar, the architect of Springdalian Education whose cherished goal was the friendship and mutual understanding between children of the world. With around forty foreign students from over twenty countries and   Ranked No.1 in India for five consecutive years in Internationalism by Education World C-Fore Survey, Springdales has truly lived to its school motto “Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam”.

The evening wove a magnificent tapestry of the rich and vibrant cultures of the world as the foreign students of Japan, France, Egypt, Australia, Palestine, the Russian Embassy School and Springdalians came together to conjure a cultural extravaganza. The delegation from Heungdeok High School, South Korea who is currently in India on an Exchange Programme, won the hearts of one and all as they swayed to the beats of a popular Bollywood number.

Presenting mementos to the participants, the Diplomatic Guests from different Embassies complimented the school for forging bonds of friendship and love through such meaningful programmes.

Founder Principal Mrs. Rajni Kumar in her Vote of Thanks advised the young Springdalians to have faith in their abilities, strive for excellence and live life in service humanity.
